  • 2 Within the first 6 months of “aging out” 50% of these youth will become homeless.  Over 2 million…  The number of homeless teens is rising at an alarming rate.
  • 3 70% of all adult inmates report spending some time in foster care.  The annual cost per adult incarcerated in Georgia’s prisons is $30K. A youth in juvenile detention costs Georgia’s tax payers double that amount at $60,000.
